Fine dining in a beautifully restored farmhouse. You will need to make a reservation a day in advance during the offseason, very good but very difficult to get a reservation unless you call days in advance. Solo has exclusively offered a Multi-Course Chef’s Tasting Menu 2 nights a week. You will need to purchase tickets in advance on the website.

Social House- Restaurant

Social House (SoHo) is a Mediterranean-based restaurant with sharing and family-style options.  Serving dinner, and brunch and planning to open late at night on weekends in the future, with two private rooms, outdoor seating, and off-site catering options.

Great seafood and freshly made pasta are staples in his diverse small plates menu. To make future reservations, please email SoHo@SocialHouse.com

Silver Fork

This is one of our favorite restaurants with a large offering of internationally inspired food and wines imported from European vineyards. Melody & Mark French own and operate The Silver Fork Restaurant in picturesque Manchester Village, Vermont. This is  a new location inside the old Mark Skinner Library in the heart of Manchester Village.  They only have six tables and a few stools at the bar, so it’s best to make a reservation.

The cuisine is an International menu that we call “a Menu in Movement”. The Chef makes changes according to his inspiration, what is fresh at the market or what he finds in season,  which means that I frequently update the menu with Chef’s inspirations and daily specials. The selection of wines ranges from the Italian sparkling prosecco to the Spanish Verdejo, along with a number of American wines. Don’t leave without having the  Caribbean Bread Pudding Souffle for dessert. This is an outstanding restaurant, we highly recommend that you make a reservation in advance.

The Chantecleer Restaurant

Host Melanie & Michel Baumann. Located Route 7A East Dorset. It’s about a 35-minute drive,  but worth it, also if you want you can drive via a very beautiful scenic route, but only in the summer and don’t take the drive at night, you head North towards Land grove to little Michigan and you up and over Mountain Tabor Rd thru Whit Rocks National forest.  Breath taking beautiful, bring your camera phone to take photos, makes it about a 1-hour drive.

We enjoyed an outstanding dinner in a warm, cozy, Vermont atmosphere next to the fireplace. The  European salad the waitress suggested (which came with your meal) was excellent. Still arguing over whose dinner was the best…Had an amazing multicourse meal there which was out of this world. The rack of lamb was one of the best I’ve ever had as was the duck dish. Service was very friendly and prompt. Prices were reasonable and the food quality was stellar.

The Reluctant Panther Restaurant

American (Traditional). Great place for a late-night dinner & drinks, if you like ice cream have the Scotch Ice Cream (but have someone else drive home)

39 West Road Manchester, VT

Ponce Bistro

Located on Main Street in Manchester, this bistro offers Puerto Rican-influenced cuisine. The restaurant’s interior is classic, with an elegant dining room, velvet curtains, and a fireplace. Pair the delicious food with your own wine or beer, this is a BYOB with no corking fee!

4659 Main Street, Manchester, VT

Ye Olde Tavern

A restaurant with a 200-year-old tradition, Ye Olde Tavern was originally called the  Stagecoach Inn. The menu features New England and traditional dishes. The restaurant  has a colonial, bygone-era feel with antique furnishings, wooden floors, and slanting  doors. We love this place but you do need to book in advance via phone.

The meu is what you would want in Vermont cuisine choices for everyone. Also some  outstanding drinks- a cocktail menu.

5183 Main Street, Manchester, VT

The Dorset Inn

This restaurant is a little bit further drive from our BlueSky properties, but worth the drive for either breakfast, Lunch, or dinner. One of our favorite places, we suggest you call and make a reservation in advance.
