About the owners, Brothers Carl Ronald Richard Pate and life long friend Sean McGlynn and their families have always enjoyed traveling and vacationing locally and abroad together. In 2017 we began to purchase several properties. We currently have vacation homes in Stratton Vermont at Rising Bear, El Cubil at Playa Hermosa Costa Rica and Rincon Puerto Rico. In today's hectic world the importance of making time to vacation with family and friends cannot be over emphasized! We have locations that can afford your family or group with outstanding properties in breath taking settings.
Be it riding on the slopes of Stratton Mountain in the winter. Kayaking on a serene Vermont Lake in the summer. Playing a round of golf while drinking the Fall foliage or simply walking in the woods to a crystal clear waterfall our Rising Bear properties offer that and so much more!
Perhaps head down to Costa Rica, to explore the beauty and diversity of the most eco-friendly country on the planet. Use our newly renovated three bedroom condo at El Cubil with its breathtaking views of
pristine Playa Hermosa beach as your base. The beach is short pleasant three and half minute walk away. (Richard and wife actually timed it!) The water is always warm and the locals some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. With a wide choice of eateries also within a short walk, you can experience delicious local cuisine as well as fare that rivals what you might find at a five star restaurant. Rain forests, volcanoes and national parks all within driving distance over a limitless variety of adventures for all ages. Pura Vida is the Costa Rican motto. Pure Life! Why not sample it!
Because of the devastating hurricane our property in Rincon Puerto Pico is currently being renovated. We hope to have it available within the next few months, in order to share this laid back location that offers some of the finest surfing, sailing and diving around.
